Arne Øyen, MSc
Sonitor Technologies Group President and CEO
Mr. Øyen joined Sonitor in 2005 with an extensive background in software development for real time data acquisition and operational visibility. From 1997 to 2005, Mr. Øyen was employed by Schlumberger and led software development to build business applications for acquisition of seismic data to provide near real time, highly detailed views to manage project flow and identify bottlenecks on a worldwide basis. At the Kongsberg Group from 1990 to 1997, he developed software for large air defense and simulation systems, torpedo guidance and passive underwater acoustic systems. Prior to his current position, Mr. Øyen served as Executive Vice President, Systems and Customer Solutions and was involved with nearly all aspects of Sonitor's business, from engineering and software development to customer deployment and support. Mr. Øyen earned a Master's Degree in Engineering Cybernetics from the Norwegian Institute of Technology.
Anne M. Bugge
President and CEO - Sonitor Technologies, Inc.
Ms. Bugge joined Sonitor in 2014 with over 20 years in the medical technology industry holding executive positions in market development, investor relations, marketing, corporate communications and international sales. She helped to build companies from early stage through highly profitable acquisitions by global companies, including ATL Ultrasound, acquired by Philips and SonoSite, acquired by FujiFilm. Ms. Bugge received a BA in journalism from Michigan State University, continued academic studies at the University of Oslo, and completed the Executive Program at Stanford University, Graduate School of Business.
Wilfred E. Booij, PhD
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Booij joined Sonitor in 2006 as Chief Technology Officer. Since that time, he has led R&D for all Sonitor products, including Sonitor Sense™, the Company's latest generation platform and industry leading technology, from concept to a robust, industrialized product. Prior to Sonitor, Dr. Booij was a Senior Scientist at the Microsystems and Nanotechnology lab at SINTEF, Norway's leading industrial R&D organization, and was a senior engineer at Hewlett-Packard (later Agilent Technologies) in the UK. He earned his PhD in Physics from Cambridge University, UK, pioneering nano-scale superconducting digital devices.
Erik Fausa Olsen
Sonitor Technologies Group Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Olsen's career spans more than 15 years of diverse executive management experience in finance, operations, business development and M&A, primarily with high growth companies. This includes Ferd, a private investment company with a net asset value of $4.4 billion, where he held positions in corporate finance and as investment director and managing partner. He was also CFO for Mestergruppen AS and Evatic AS, building on his earlier career experience as a senior consultant at Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance. Mr. Olsen received his degree in Business Studies and Master's Degree in Business from the Norwegian School of Management (BI).
Øystein Haug Olsen
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Olsen joined Sonitor as Chief Systems Engineer in 2008 and has researched and implemented ultrasound and radio technologies for indoor positioning, authored patent applications, and coordinated the design and implementation of the Sonitor Sense system architecture. From 1998-2008, Dr. Olsen was Chief Scientist at FAST (acquired by Microsoft in 2008) coordinating the system architecture and linguistics technologies for searching enterprise data. From 1996-1998, Dr. Olsen worked for Ericsson Radar as project manager on radar display and control systems - the first in NATO to communicate over the Internet Protocol. Dr. Olsen earned a doctorate from the University of Glasgow studying biological neuronal networks followed by a research fellowship at Emory University, GA.
Senior Vice President Operations
Mr. Rostad has led Operations at Sonitor Technologies since 2009. He joined the Company in 2001 and previously worked for high tech companies such as the Kongsberg Group. He has worked in project manufacturing and quality management positions for more than 25 years. Areas of expertise include development and delivery project management.
Terje "Terry" Aasen
Senior Vice President, Business Development and Strategic Alliances
Mr. Aasen has held executive positions in operations, sales, marketing and business development in global healthcare, security, and IT related technology companies including Laerdal Medical, VingCard/Assa Abloy, and Siemens. He first joined Sonitor Technologies in 2005 and established and led the Company's business in North America until 2011. He rejoined Sonitor in early 2014. Mr. Aasen was born in Norway, received his business education degree in Germany and has lived most of his adult life in the United States.
Endre Bakka, MSc.
Senior Vice President, Engineering
Mr. Bakka joined Sonitor in 2006 with extensive embedded firmware and project management experience. He has played a key role in the development of Sonitor's current and future products. Prior to joining Sonitor, Mr. Bakka held key technical and management positions for Data Respons, a consultant company specializing in embedded solutions, as well as the statistical division of UNICEF (United Nation's Children Fund) in New York. Mr. Bakka has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Norwegian Institute of Technology, Norway's premier engineering institution.
Senior Vice President, Global Marketing and Americas Sales
Ms. Rasmussen joined Sonitor in September 2015 with extensive business, sale and marketing experience. Prior to joining Sonitor, Ms. Rasmussen held key business and strategic roles at PerkinElmer Inc, where she was vice president of corporate marketing. She has over 25 years experience in product and strategic marketing and communications for high technology and healthcare industries. She holds a bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in mathematics from Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT, USA
