The challenge
CGSL sought to coordinate resident information and caregiver activity while making more time available for direct care.
The solution in practice
Sonitor ultrasound RTLS connected resident and staff RTLS tags, tagged equipment, caregiver smartphones, room touchscreens and electronic records. Screens identified arriving caregivers and supported schedules and family communication. Smart Guard automatically recorded care interactions, helping streamline documentation while ensuring individual caregiver movement histories were not retained. Resident tags combined assistance buttons with motion sensing. Location visibility also supported monitoring near exits and entrances.
Results and impact
Shared information helped residents and caregivers review schedules together. Staff could receive movement notifications and respond when assistance was needed. The deployment supported care coordination and access to resident information.
