Modern hospitals rely on mobile devices to move people, information, and workflows. With Sonitor, those same devices can also provide accurate, sub-room-level location data using nothing more than the phone’s microphone, BLE radio, and the SonitorONE platform.

This capability is made possible through a patented Sonitor process that receives a 20 kHz ultrasound signal from the ultraBeacon into the phone microphone, combines it with BLE data, and uses a Time-of-Flight algorithm to calculate precise indoor location.
