Sonitor Expands Commercial Leadership with Mike Ruffino and Ben Ballester
Experienced healthcare technology veterans strengthen Sonitor’s enterprise growth in North America and the United Kingdom.

Mike Ruffino — Vice President of Enterprise Solutions
Ruffino brings more than 12 years of business experience and expertise across healthcare technology, SaaS, real-time location systems (RTLS), nurse call, and location intelligence.
He spent more than a decade in commercial leadership roles with Hillrom, working across RTLS and nurse call solutions, and developing extensive experience supporting complex healthcare organizations. Most recently, Ruffino served as Chief Growth Officer at Tallēwise, an AI-powered healthcare intelligence SaaS company.
At Sonitor, Ruffino will focus on expanding relationships with health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and healthcare organizations while helping customers apply end-to-end location intelligence solutoins to solve increasingly complex operational challenges.

Ben Ballester — United Kingdom Country Manager
Ballester brings more than 10 years of experience across healthcare technology and operations, supply chain, inventory management, point-of-care solutions, RTLS, GS1 standards, and the NHS Scan4Safety program.
His healthcare technology experience includes roles with Brady Corporation, The Barcode Warehouse, Genesis Automation Healthcare, and GHX Europe, providing him with extensive knowledge of healthcare supply chain, inventory, and point-of-care environments.
As UK Country Manager, Ballester will lead Sonitor’s UK operation and support the company’s growing work with healthcare organizations and partners, including Sonitor’s participation in the NHS framework for inventory management, point-of-care, and Scan4Safety initiatives. Ben will also work closely with the commercial team based in Norway as they focus on growth in Europe and globally.
